About the role
- Cash and Bank Payment Supervisor overseeing a team in Shared Service center for fluid control industry. Ensuring timely payments and compliance with financial regulations in a multicultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day work of the Cash and Bank payment team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments
- Along with the process Subject Matter Expert and other teams, supervise the team to transition responsibilities from sites into the Shared Service center
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
- Responsible for balancing team workload and ensuring month-end deadlines and other KPI targets are met for the team
- Help develop an environment and culture that supports the attraction and retention of quality talent
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls for the center’s operations
- Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Work cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end processes operate effectively within the assigned area
- Maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, resolving escalated issues promptly
- Ensure up-to-date process documentation and knowledge management for the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related economic/business studies
- 5+ years of experience is required, with at least 2+ years in a Shared Service center environment
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English
- Strong drive for action and proactivity in recognizing and resolving issues
- Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Continuous improvement mindset (LEAN Six Sigma is an advantage)
