About the role
- Lead Cloud Data Developer responsible for shaping cloud data infrastructure at flaschenpost. Creating innovative solutions influencing business decisions and working with modern technologies.
Responsibilities
- You build innovative data analytics platforms using state-of-the-art technologies and continuously improve them
- You support our BI experts from concept through implementation of modern data analytics architectures
- You implement new DevOps pipelines and, together with the team, optimize the developer experience
- You act as a mentor to team members, interns, and working students, providing technical guidance
Requirements
- Several years of professional engineering experience in a cloud data warehouse environment
- Initial experience in (technical) leadership of an agile team
- Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Experience building automated ETL pipelines, data storage solutions and databases
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its data services
- Experience with SQL databases and big data tools such as Hadoop, HIVE, Kafka, Spark or HBase
- Practical experience with DevOps methodologies and related CI/CD tools
- Programming experience with Python and C# / .NET is a plus
- Independent and structured working style
- Strong communication skills, including explaining complex topics
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
