About the role
- D365 User Security Analyst ensuring robust security models for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. Designing configurations and monitoring security activity in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in safeguarding our Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments by designing, configuring, and maintaining robust security models that protect sensitive customer, financial and operational data.
- Ensure users have the right access at the right time, aligning permissions with business needs, compliance requirements and Microsoft best practice.
- Collaborate closely with Entra ID (Azure AD) administrators and technical teams to manage authentication, MFA, conditional access and application permissions.
- Proactively monitor, document and review security activity, support internal and external audits, and guide delivery teams on secure configurations and least‑privilege principles.
Requirements
- Has strong knowledge of D365 F&SCM, Dataverse and Power Platform security models.
- Understands Entra ID (Azure AD), conditional access, MFA, identity governance and application permissions.
- Brings experience with RBAC, security role design, field‑level security and SoD (segregation of duties).
- Takes a detail‑driven, analytical approach with excellent documentation skills.
- Is confident translating business requirements into secure, scalable permission models.
- Has familiarity with GDPR, internal audit processes, governance and compliance frameworks.
- Works effectively within Agile environments and collaborates well with cross‑functional technical teams.
- Is proactive, organised and passionate about maintaining high security standards across complex environments.
