About the role
- Senior Ledger Accountant responsible for financial accounting and internal processes at flaconi. Collaborating on analyses, month-end, and annual financial statements in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) (and, if applicable, IFRS)
- Responsibility for general ledger accounting, including reconciliation and maintenance of all relevant accounts
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, policies and deadlines
- Preparation of reports, forecasts, variance analyses and management reports
- Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders
- Optimization and further development of accounting processes, controls and workflows
- Execution of complex journal entries (including provisions, accruals and intercompany reconciliations)
- Support in cash flow management and liquidity planning
- Participation in projects, e.g. system implementations, process automation or compliance
Requirements
- Degree in business administration with a focus on finance/accounting or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, preferably in an international environment
- Very good knowledge of HGB, ideally with additional IFRS expertise
- Confident use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel
- Strong numerical affinity, analytical understanding and a structured working style
- Experience working with auditors and preparing financial statements
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Independent and proactive working style
- Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
- High resilience and the ability to reliably meet deadlines
