About the role
- Forward Deployed Engineer integrating Firecrawl, scaling inside customer products using TypeScript/Node.js. Focused on delivery, debugging, and collaboration with customers and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own technical integration delivery for priority customers — from first API call through production scale
- Write TypeScript/Node.js code to build, customize, and debug integrations with payments systems, cloud platforms, and third-party APIs
- Debug complex real-world issues live with customers
- Build reusable solutions and playbooks that turn one-off customer problems into repeatable wins for the team
- Translate customer friction into clear product and engineering insights
- Work closely with core engineering on reliability, performance, and DX improvements
Requirements
- 3+ years or equivalent shipped systems
- Strong TypeScript/Node.js engineer
- Experience with payments and cloud platforms
- Solid on backend and data fundamentals
- Security-aware
- High ownership with customers
