About the role
- Accounting Support for FIFA Ticketing Finance assisting with finance-related matters and managing customer inquiries. Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities for financial records accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Support Ticketing Finance in acting as a business partner to the Commercial Ticketing team by providing assistance on finance-related matters.
- Monitor high-volume ticket sales and ensure correct and timely revenue recognition in the accounting system.
- Manage customer enquiries, including processing refunds and handling chargebacks.
- Assist with bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and maintenance of accurate and organized financial documentation.
- Perform data validation checks and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Assist with ad‑hoc financial tasks, analysis, or projects as required by the Ticketing Finance team.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of reconciliations, schedules and reporting for FIFA Ticketing subsidiaries.
Requirements
- Prior experience in accounting, finance operations or support.
- Proficient in Excel/ Word / PowerPoint.
- Experience using SAP FI is an asset.
- Degree in accounting or controlling.
- Good understanding and knowledge of accounting and controlling principles.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Responsible personality with high self-initiative.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
