Responsibilities
Perform format and gap analyses of existing systems
Take ownership of converter development
Ensure daily maintenance and ongoing development of legacy applications
Analyze and improve existing Delphi codebases to support current projects
Provide technical support to internal teams handling client requests (no direct contact with end customers)
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and implementation, and quality assurance practices (unit testing, automated testing, TDD)
Extensive experience with Delphi (at least 2 years)
Willingness to work with Delphi and legacy applications
Experience writing technical specifications and documentation
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player
Fluent in written and spoken German and/or English
