About the role
- Junior Finance Assistant ensuring precise financial records across global markets for Formula E. Support day-to-day financial operations and assist with accounts processes in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations ranging from data entry and record-keeping to complex multi-currency reconciliations
- Provide critical support across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Take charge of daily payment allocations, uploading banking data as a priority from multi-currency banks
- Manage credit card journals and ensure compliance before month-end closing
- Assist with PSA tax calculations and submission of national statistics surveys
- Support international local accounts and assist with audit queries
Requirements
- Previous experience in a finance/accounting team or possess solid basic accounting knowledge
- Good Excel skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of VAT (not required)
- Experience with enterprise systems like Workday or SAP (not required)
- Fluency in other languages (significant plus)
