- Operational Finance Manager overseeing financial operations related to bookings and payments at Ferryhopper. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial workflows and internal controls.

- Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day financial operations related to bookings, cancellations, chargebacks, and supplier payments
- Oversee accurate reconciliation of booking data with payment gateways, banks, and partners
- Assist in establishing and maintaining strong internal controls across revenue, costs, and commissions
- Monitor and improve financial operational workflows to reduce errors and processing time
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payments, and dispute resolution
- Assist with monitoring and forecasting cashflows
- Collaborate closely with operational departments within the company (Supply, CS, Engineering) to enhance workflows
- Work closely with the Financial Controller and Senior Accountant to ensure that financial data is accurately and completely captured in SAP
- Oversee project to implement electronic invoicing
- Assist the CFO and Financial Controller with reporting activities and other projects as required
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in an e-commerce/start-up environment and/or the travel industry would be an advantage
- At least 5 years of professional experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with SAP Business One is an advantage
