About the role

• Analista Paralegal Fiscal Júnior supporting regulatory compliance in Brazilian retail company. Engaged in corporate and regulatory records management, ensuring fiscal compliance across all locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys, monitoring, guidance and regularization of the Company's corporate and regulatory records to maintain the registration and tax compliance of all Stores and Distribution Centers with all required public authorities at municipal, state and federal levels.
• Knowledge of registration of Corporate Acts with Commercial Registries (Juntas Comerciais).
• Experience obtaining, amending, closing and regularizing registrations at federal, state and municipal levels nationwide.
• Familiarity with regulatory licenses, such as operating permits, sanitary and environmental licenses.
• Experience with Negative Debt Certificates (Certidões Negativas de Débitos - CNDs), including issuance, monitoring and regularization.
• Identification and resolution of issues that may affect the issuance of CNDs.
• Familiarity with various requests and forms related to the area’s needs.
• Manage relationships with regulatory public agencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication for direct internal and external contact.

Requirements

• High school diploma or currently enrolled in a degree in Accounting, Law or related fields.
• Experience monitoring and reading messages in electronic mailboxes, via DEC and DTE.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to interpret legislation related to the area.
• Knowledge of Substitute Tax (Substituto Tributário) processes and other Special Tax Regimes.
• Experience responding to communications, summons or fines issued by public authorities.
