About the role

  • Assistant Project Manager responsible for managing electrical construction projects including staff oversight and vendor coordination. Ensuring project profitability and timely completion per customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general management for electrical construction projects
  • Oversee staff and coordinate with vendors to obtain materials for construction projects
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and maintain employee relations
  • Ensure that projects are completed profitably, in a timely manner, and according to customer expectations
  • Attend weekly and monthly meetings to review job progress and supports safe behavior

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electrical construction, project management, or a related field
  • Experience with electrical construction projects and understanding of electrical components and applications is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable
  • Travel: 15-20%
