About the role
- Junior Mechanical Engineer responsible for 2D and 3D designs and validation of automotive parts. Collaborating on integration and feasibility of sub-assemblies, maintaining delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the study of the sub-assembly or part assigned to them.
- Responsible for the 2D and 3D design, in accordance with the client’s specifications.
- Responsible for the design and validation of the part they develop.
- Ensures the correct integration of these elements into the vehicle.
- Ensures the product feasibility of the parts and sub-assemblies under their responsibility.
- Responsible for meeting delivery deadlines.
- Responsible for ensuring the correct implementation of 3D and 2D modifications.
- Responsible for ensuring the update of the digital mock-up (DMU).
- Provides support, based on the recommendations given by the part manager, regarding the product feasibility of the parts and sub-assemblies under their responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and drive synchronization across teams
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying risks and workload discrepancies
- Fluent in English; French or another language is a plus
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple project milestones.
