About the role
- Senior Testautomation Engineer (API) designing and maintaining API test automation for cloud MES systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for robust and scalable API testing.
Responsibilities
- As a senior Testautomation Engineer (API) in our Digital Solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API Test Automation for a cloud MES system (Azure environment/ Azure DevOps).
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers and product managers, to create robust, reliable, and scalable tests for a bunch of API services.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in API testautomation of cloud based applications (microservices)
- Proficiency in API test automation tools (i.e. Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, Karate, JMeter, ...)
- Proficiency in using VS Code, GIT, Azure DevOps
- Experience in C#/.net/Angular/Python programming languages and using Swagger
- Experience in API mocking/stubbing tools (i.e. Postman, Mocki, Mockoon, APIdog, ...)
- Experience with interface design and data exchange between cloud systems/microservices and other software components.
- Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Azure DevOps
- Experience with Agile development practices, including the use of Azure DevOps (SCRUM, Kanban)
- Experience with Azure services and integrating with cloud backends.
- Experience with AI technologies supporting test automation
