Responsibilities
Perform security risk analysis on railway sub-systems and define mitigation strategies
Define secure architectures and specify cybersecurity requirements for system components
Identify where cybersecurity barriers should be implemented at the system level
Ensure security risk reduction measures through process implementation and organisation change
Align with European regulations and industry standards
Work closely with system, software, and safety engineers to integrate cybersecurity principles into solutions
Validate cybersecurity implementations through documentation, installation report and test case review, and security analysis
Explain cybersecurity requirements to subsystem teams and ensure proper follow-up
Contributes to cybersecurity testing and validation strategies, ensuring system resilience.
Requirements
Engineering degree (BAC+5) in Cybersecurity, electricity (Telecommunications or automatic), informatics or related fields
Understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment methodologies, and secure system design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work on cybersecurity topics across networks, architecture, governance, and system hardening
Experience with security frameworks, risk analysis, and technical documentation
Excellent communication and ability to explain cybersecurity concepts to non-specialists
Fluent in English; proficiency in French, German is a plus.
