About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and documentation of complex architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration
- Serve as the technical authority on projects, ensuring code compliance, constructability, and quality control
- Develop and review construction documents, specifications, and details to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and design conflicts
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to intermediate and junior architectural staff
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and workload forecasting in collaboration with project managers
- Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, site visits, and field reports
- Stay current with building codes, standards, and industry best practices, particularly those applicable to Colorado and local jurisdictions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards, templates, and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 7+ years of professional architectural experience, with a strong focus on technical design and documentation
- Licensed Architect (or actively pursuing licensure) strongly preferred
- Extensive experience producing and coordinating construction documents for complex building projects
- Advanced proficiency in Revit; strong working knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination
- Thorough understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across disciplines
