- UGV Systems Architect responsible for the system architecture of autonomous vehicles at Daimler Truck. Integrating UGV solutions into existing vehicle platforms and digital ecosystems.
Responsibilities

- Portale & Operator-UX: Systemdesign sowie Kundenportal inkl. Rollen-/Rechte-Modellen und Workflows
- Daten- & Sicherheitsarchitektur: Gestaltung von Telemetrie-Pipelines, Datenqualität, Zugriffskonzepten, Data Lifecycle sowie Cybersecurity-Maßnahmen
- Regulatorik & Safety im Betrieb: Technische Ableitung von Datenschutz-/Data-Residency-Vorgaben, Exportkontrolle, SOTIF/Safety-Anforderungen sowie Mitwirkung an Risk Assessments und Einsatzfreigaben
- Technische Entscheidungsgrundlagen: Architektur-Roadmaps, Make/Buy-Bewertungen, Design-Dokumentation, Abstimmungen mit Fachbereichen und externen Technologiepartner:innen
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Fahrzeugtechnik oder vergleichbar
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in System- oder Softwarearchitektur für sicherheitskritische Platforms, Robotik/Autonomie, IoT-/Edge-Backends oder Missions-/Fleet-Systeme
- Tiefes Verständnis von Microservice-Architekturen, Integrationen (REST/gRPC, event-basiert), Identity & Access, Observability, DevSecOps und CI/CD
- Kenntnisse in Betriebssystemen autonomer Systeme, Latenz-/Netzanforderungen, Remote-Operation sowie Safety- und Security-Aspekten im Feldbetrieb
- Erfahrung im Design von User-Portalen, Workflows, Datenmodellen und technischen Gateways für Kunden- oder Operator-Systeme
- Analytische Stärke, systematische Denkweise und Fähigkeit, komplexe End-to-End-Architekturen adressatengerecht aufzubereiten
- Cloud-native Software- und Plattform-Engineering-Kenntnisse sind wünschenswert
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
