About the role
- Senior Engineer testing & automating Telematics ECU Software at Daimler Truck. Involved in requirements analysis and test planning through various communication protocols and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Testing & Test Automation for Telematics ECU Software using CAN, REST API and Business partner portals
- Come up with test cases from the requirement specification, create test plans & execution.
- Achieve Automation for feasible test cases
- Strong working Knowledge in Python & various Test Automation Framework (Ex: ECU.test )
- Create and maintain test bench setups
- Contribute to the existing practices with fresh thoughts to improve productivity
- ~4-6 years of overall experience in embedded systems validation
- Hands On Experience in Telematics domain with good understanding of Telematics Control Unit, Telematics use cases and how everything fits in the context of IoT
- Working knowledge of cloud & backend communications with Telematics Control unit.
- Experience in – shell scripting, python scripting
- Experience in working with Linux like environment
- Experience in Automotive domain, with exposure to in vehicle networks
- Experience in variety protocols from different layers – Serial protocols, CAN, UDS , TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, Ethernet
- Having been a part of an agile team
- Good to have – experience in DevOps
