About the role
- SAP Application Manager responsible for system and application support for SAP S/4HANA at evm-Gruppe. Manage IT projects and provide consulting to business units.
Responsibilities
- Ensure system and application support for SAP S/4HANA (ERP and HCM) as well as various peripheral IT systems
- Coordinate ongoing operations, including patch management, license metering, and runtime optimization
- Responsible for analyzing, documenting, and aligning requirements from business units
- Advise business units on IT-specific topics and processes
- Plan and manage IT projects, including coordination of external service providers and project workshops
- Monitor operational activities, handle tickets, and manage vendors based on KPIs in accordance with ITIL standards
Requirements
- Completed university/college degree in a relevant field or completed vocational training with appropriate additional qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in system and application support as well as IT operations
- Solid knowledge of commercial/business processes and experience advising business units
- Experience in project management and in managing external service providers
- Strong skills in analysis, design, and implementation of new requirements in the IT environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, strong service orientation, and good English language skills
- High level of abstraction and strong logical-analytical thinking ability
