About the role
- Intern in Backend Development at etalytics focusing on AI-driven energy management solutions. Collaborating on etaONE Energy Intelligence Platform with a growing team in Darmstadt, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Close collaboration with an experienced development team
- Active further development of the etaONE Energy Intelligence Platform
- Develop backend functionalities using technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Git, Gradle, PostgreSQL, MQTT and Docker
- Design and implement new features and solution approaches
- Contribute your own ideas and creative solutions to the development process
- Ensure high code quality through test automation and static code analysis
- Participate in optimizing development processes and architecture
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a comparable program
- Strong interest in clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Ideally, initial practical experience with Java or Kotlin as well as backend technologies
- Quick comprehension, ability to work independently and high willingness to learn
- Motivation to take responsibility and contribute to sustainable software solutions
- Very good German skills (spoken and written) and good English skills
