About the role

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain forecasting models within your domain
- Learn the operational processes your models serve
- Monitor model performance in production
- Contribute to methodology decisions
- Translate operational problems into data science problems
- Work with Finance for reliable handoff between operational and financial models
- Quantify the impact of model errors on cost per parcel
- Influence the squad's technical direction
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a data science or quantitative modelling role
- Strong Python and SQL
- Understanding of interconnected systems and demand forecasting
- Experience with time-series forecasting methods
- Comfort working across the modelling lifecycle
- Communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience using AI tools
