About the role
- Senior Finance Operations Specialist managing financial and HR operations at Equus Software, a leading Global Mobility Software company, ensuring compliance and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process client billing in alignment with contract specifics.
- Ensure a timely and accurate collection process.
- Oversee policies and entry of accounts payables and expense reimbursements.
- Assist in generation and review of periodic financial reports.
- Assist in the process of report generation as needed for annual tax preparation.
- Preparation of bank reconciliations.
- Assist in process of cash flow management, budgeting/ forecasting.
- Assist in client renewals including invoicing, contract preparation, client requests for information, working with the legal and IT department to ensure compliance.
- Manage the preparation and process of payroll for global personnel.
- Assist in oversight of benefits enrollment and management.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Manage contract, service and price negotiations with landlords, office vendors and service providers.
- Support leadership with financial or legal related research.
- Other duties as requested in line with the financial, HR and operational support function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of finance, accounting or related experience (GAAP knowledge is a plus).
- 2+ years of human resources experience, including payroll.
- Financial reporting experience (experience with CPA reviews a plus).
- Proficient computer skills on all Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel formulas.
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (required).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Creative with an ability to suggest and implement improvements.
- Ability and willingness to work closely within all levels of the business, from staff to executive officers.
- Experience with Bill.com and Wrike is a plus.
- Experience working in a SaaS or tech company is a plus.
