Senior PR & Communications Manager responsible for enhancing epay's reputation in DACH and Europe. Developing stories, managing media relations, and executing campaigns for impactful communication.
Responsibilities
We are not looking for a coordinator who only manages agencies — we want a strong communications leader who develops, writes, and places stories herself/himself.
As a Senior PR & Content Manager (m/f/d) you will actively build epay’s reputation across DACH and Europe and drive topics along our entire value chain.
You are a doer, storyteller and strategic sparring partner for management — using agencies as amplifiers, not as a replacement.
You proactively pitch stories to journalists, secure interview placements and build a relevant media network across Europe.
You independently develop press releases, expert articles, case studies, whitepapers and LinkedIn posts — precise, clear and with conviction.
You execute communications campaigns hands‑on, from European product launches to major industry events like EuroShop.
You ensure our messages are consistent across all European markets and create content toolkits that teams in other countries can use directly.
You make epay’s entire value chain visible — Payments, Branded Payments, Incentives & Rewards — and help support our sales and business teams with compelling stories.
Requirements
Experience & background: Several years of experience in PR, corporate communications or content marketing within an international environment.
Storytelling & communication: Strong writing and storytelling skills in German and English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
Track record & visibility: Demonstrable placements in trade and business media or leading content projects from concept to delivery.
Media & stakeholders: Enjoy working directly with media/agencies, C‑level executives and internal stakeholders.
Hands‑on & execution: You implement content independently and use agencies selectively to amplify results.
Initiative & organization: High self‑initiative, creativity and excellent organizational skills.
