About the role
- Senior Elektroingenieur responsible for the complete work package of network connection in energy projects. Managing processes and ensuring project compliance and timeline adherence.
Responsibilities
- As an Electrical Engineer for Grid Connection and Protection Engineering (m/f/d), you are responsible for the complete grid connection work package — from technical feasibility through to commissioning.
- You manage grid operator processes, coordinate testing and produce technical proofs and documentation.
- You act as the central interface between project management, engineering and grid operators.
- Preparation of grid connection applications and submission of technical data packages.
- Management and response to technical queries from grid operators.
- Planning and responsibility for compliance documentation according to VDE-AR-N 4105 and VDE-AR-N 4110.
- Definition of single-line diagrams, protection concepts, CT specifications and remote control/telemetry systems.
- Coordination of external partners for protection testing such as FAT and SAT.
- Maintenance of schedules for grid milestones and management of dependencies and risks.
- Consolidation of approvals, test reports and certificates up to commissioning.
- Further development of standards, templates and grid connection processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification, e.g. master craftsperson or technician
- Several years of experience in grid connection of power plants, ideally battery storage or renewable energy
- Solid knowledge of protection engineering, standards and grid operator processes
- Confident in reading and producing single-line diagrams and technical specifications
- Experience with certification and testing processes including FAT and SAT
- Clear and professional communication with grid operators and authorities; German language skills at least C1.
