About the role
- Supervisor for Global Security Operations Center at Enbridge. Leading a dedicated 24/7 team to monitor and protect global facilities and assets.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 24/7 GSOC operations, ensuring continuous monitoring of global facilities and assets.
- Lead and mentor GSOC operators, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency response protocols, and improve policy, procedure, and technical solutions.
- Act as the primary decision-maker during security incidents, coordinating real-time responses and communications.
- Ensure effective use of Genetec Security Center and other integrated security technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, or a related field. If you do not possess a bachelor’s degree, then an additional 3-years of related experience is required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or related security operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in a GSOC or security team leadership/supervisory role.
- Strong working knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm monitoring.
- Proficiency with Genetec Security Center or similar integrated security management platforms.
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills; ability to develop SOPs and refine workflows.
