About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously maintain a testing strategy (test pyramid, quality gates, Definition of Done) in close collaboration with Product and Development.
- Design, implement and maintain automated tests at the UI, API and integration levels, including writing test code in the project's primary programming language.
- Build and extend test frameworks and tooling, and optimize test stability and execution times.
- Conduct API, data and system tests, set up test data, implement mocking/stubbing and perform checks for data integrity and migrations.
- Perform exploratory and risk-based testing of new features and actively support release readiness and post-release quality (monitoring, root cause analysis).
- Act as a sparring partner for development teams on test design, automation and testable architecture/observability.
Requirements
- You have completed training in application development or hold a completed technical degree.
- You have at least 2–3 years of experience in test automation.
- You have practical experience working with REST-based web services.
- You have basic experience using and developing with JavaScript or C#.
- Ideally, you have strong knowledge in developing REST-based APIs.
- You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
- You have a quick grasp of new concepts and a desire to continuously develop and learn new things.
- A careful, independent and team-oriented working style completes your profile.
