Lifecycle Proposals Engineer responsible for technical and commercial aspects of Lifecycle proposals at Emerson Power & Water Solutions. Aiding the transition to renewable energy through project cost solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop project cost solutions that meet customer needs, minimize technical risk, and position Emerson for long-term success.
Interpret customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and clarify technical and commercial requirements for stakeholders across the business.
Collaborate closely with Regional Engineering, Technical Advisors, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other Emerson teams to incorporate all necessary information into high-quality proposal documentation.
Prepare and assemble complete technical and commercial proposal packages that align with customer expectations, internal standards, and contractual requirements.
Provide timely, professional support to Sales and customers regarding proposal content, scope, and pricing inquiries.
Ensure proposal information is generated, stored, shared, and archived in a structured, secure, and compliant manner.
Apply and continuously improve best practices, tools, templates, and processes to drive efficiency, consistency, and quality in proposal efforts.
Requirements
BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field
Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear, customer-focused messages and documentation.
Demonstrate strong learning agility, specifically in new technologies.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and balance multiple activities, manage deadlines, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Ability to travel up to 10%
