About the role
- Onboarding Analyst evaluating merchant applications and ensuring compliance for a global payment service provider. Collaborating with Account Management and monitoring merchant adherence to regulations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating and analyzing merchant applications and business models according to internal guidelines
- Reviewing and verifying application documentation and conducting various background checks with internal and external tools to ensure compliance
- Reporting the results of the background checks to Account Management
- Collaborating closely with Account Management and other departments (if needed)
- Ongoing monitoring of merchant compliance by using established tools, according to internal procedures.
Requirements
- Excellent English language skills – verbal and written
- Ability to read and understand Greek (reading comprehension required for reviewing documentation; no speaking or writing in Greek is required)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience with MS Office
- Willing to innovate, learn and share knowledge
- Proactive team player with excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Previous experience in the payment industry would be considered an advantage
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, etc.) would be considered an advantage.
