About the role
- Migration Engineer responsible for data migration from various EMR systems to new platforms at ELLKAY. Collaborating with project managers and ensuring accurate data migrations while managing multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform data migration of both structured and unstructured data from various EMR systems, ensuring seamless migration to new EMR platforms and archives.
- DME will be main point of contact for assigned EMR data migration projects, responsible for ensuring all project timelines are met.
- Collaborate with Project managers to understand their project scope, analyze their data, and develop a detailed delivery plan.
- Coordinate project deliverables by working closely with various internal teams.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement resolution strategies to minimize any impact on the project.
- Conduct data validation and testing to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of the migrated data.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure on-time delivery
Requirements
- 2+ years’ Experience with data analysis and SQL
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to exercise effective decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
