Outpatient Mental Health Therapist providing services at Ellie Mental Health Clinic in Norwalk, CT. Evaluating mental health diagnoses, implementing treatment plans, and attending clinical staff meetings.
Responsibilities
Evaluating mental health diagnoses and implementing treatment plans
Maintaining updated documentation using company platforms and EHR
A minimum of 25 client (full-time) sessions per week to a diverse population of clients (with the ability to see more clients if desired)
Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Care coordination for assigned clients to ensure continuity of care
Participation in clinical staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and community outreach
Community involvement and engagement
A sense of humor and desire to have fun in the workplace will certainly help as well!
Requirements
Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
Candidates should have clinical licensure in the state of Connecticut (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) in good standing
Experience with completing intake assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
Effective communication skills
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Ability to complete and submit documentation of services in a timely manner
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of community resources and insurance billing
Comfort with and/or willingness to learn and engage in the client collections process
General knowledge of Apple products, EHR, Telehealth, and other software platforms
Ability to pass a background check.
