Responsibilities
Derive product group strategies based on the company's and purchasing strategy in the areas of outsourced manufacturing / "extended workbench" and general procurement needs
Ensure and optimize the supply chain for the medium and long term, including contract management
Continuously monitor national and international markets
Source new suppliers, evaluate and develop existing suppliers
Create transparency and optimize cost structures
Independently prepare, conduct and lead price negotiations
Resolve technical and commercial queries
Record and maintain master data in IT systems
Requirements
Degree in industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience as a buyer in an international environment
Negotiation skills, assertiveness and a strong cost awareness are required
Hands-on mentality with a high solution orientation and intercultural competence for negotiations in an international environment
Quick comprehension as well as a structured, results-oriented and independent way of working
Confident user of MS Office and experience with an ERP system
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
