About the role

Responsibilities
- design and scale enterprise systems supporting patient-facing Android devices
- develop and support solutions for Android devices and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
- define technical architecture, system integration patterns, and API design standards
- lead architecture decisions across cloud-native and multi-platform environments
- build and maintain systems using AWS, Docker, and microservices architecture
- ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization
- support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud infrastructure design
- maintain active relationships with stakeholders; communicate technical standards and gain buy-in from stakeholders
- mentor engineers and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards
- integrate with Android Management API and enterprise mobility tools
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- minimum 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines
- strong experience with Kotlin (Android development)
- experience with Spring Boot (Java microservices)
- experience with PostgreSQL
- experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- experience with Docker/containerization
- expertise working with business and technical applications
- proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers
- strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills
- ability to balance technical, analytical, and product considerations in solution design
- exposure to Android Management API, Okta (IAM), Grafana (monitoring/observability); Geocoding API is a bonus
