Responsibilities
Impact the financial success of the business through the ability to secure new business within the Small Fleets Segment
Drive revenue and set the course for growth of the business by managing an assigned set of clients and prospects
Ensure that all future clients are strategically developed
Generate new business & share of wallet opportunities with customers and prospects
Identify needs and develop proposals with Elements value added services
Coordinate end to end sales process for new customer onboarding (including risk underwriting process, customer visits, contract negotiation and implementation process)
Accountable for the overall relationship management of assigned clients as the primary point of contact
Meet clients to maintain and grow business relationships
Oversee line renewals and legal changes
Introduce new products & services with existing clients to enhance profitability
Responsible for the development, planning and execution of a strategic account plan including coordinating with strategic consulting projects and business reviews
Identify and articulate best practices within the industry
Demonstrated analytical ability, critical reasoning and strategic thinking to generate customer loyalty
Requirements
True hunter mentality; new business development focused
BS or BA in business or related field required. MBA is a plus
3-5 years in complex B2B sales environment, preferably selling complex financial concepts/products or other intangible products/services
Experience selling in C-suite settings and influencing C-suite decision-makers strongly preferred
Demonstrated sales discipline and record of sales success and experience leading the successful acquisition of new business through a structured process
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time within assigned (home) territory
Preferred experience on financial or lease services, customer-facing commercial sales position
Critical thinking - can offer creative solutions to meet client and prospect needs
Drive results by successfully presenting to clients and senior management
Proven ability to effectively interact at all levels of an organization
