About the role
- Lawyer responsible for analyzing and drafting legal contracts at Grupo EcoRodovias, ensuring compliance and protecting organizational interests. Collaborates with multiple areas to address legal demands and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and draft contracts and legal instruments, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and protecting the organization’s interests, so that all documents are legally valid and legal risks are minimized.
- Support company areas on legal matters, anticipating demands and identifying potential liability risks, with the aim of acting preventively to avoid future legal issues and aligning legal solutions with the company’s needs.
- Initiate and defend legal actions, monitoring proceedings through to conclusion in accordance with strategies defined by the senior legal team, aiming to protect the company’s interests and achieve its legal objectives.
- Analyze administrative proceedings and prepare submissions, defenses, and technical drafts, especially before the Regulatory Agency, on matters related to regulatory law and concession contract relationships.
- Act before the Public Prosecutor’s Office, monitoring procedures, preparing submissions and responses, and supporting internal teams in collecting necessary information, with the goal of ensuring adequate compliance with legal and institutional requirements.
- Assist in mediation, negotiation, and conciliation by gathering information, conducting research, and preparing reports to promote efficient conflict resolution, reduce litigation, and reach outcomes favorable to the organization.
- Ensure good practices in Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, and Social Responsibility standards, as well as compliance with client requirements, regulatory and statutory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Act in accordance with the corporate Compliance and Ethics program, following rules defined and aligned with the Company’s guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements and contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Preferably more than 3 years of experience, ideally in regulatory law and/or public service concession contracts.
- Management and monitoring of legal proceedings and cases.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Power BI.
- English (proficiency).
