Responsibilities
- Assist in preserving and maintaining the infrastructure environment for network equipment across the group, ensuring the availability and quality of our assets.
- Assist in preserving and maintaining the group's virtualized environment to protect and ensure business continuity through proper configurations and timely patches/fixes.
- Serve as a technical knowledge multiplier within the team.
- Assess compatibility and adherence of commercial hardware and software to modeled processes related to network activities.
- Support the systems team in deploying new services on the network.
- Respond promptly to internal and external audits when requested, providing evidence of work routines to demonstrate compliance with established Technology policies.
- Collect information to create IT metrics and indicators to be presented on demand or at pre-established intervals as requested by IT management.
- Monitor assets via dashboards in dedicated tools to identify and resolve issues and to inform colleagues affected by service disruptions.
- Gather information for specialists and the area leader to create new monitoring dashboards and additional metrics for the department.
- Respond to service desk tickets, with in-person or remote contact with client devices (hardware or software), for interventions including:
- Incidents: sudden interruptions of network devices, vulnerability remediation, and communication outages.
- Preventive maintenance: perform preventive adjustments to network assets and software to ensure high availability and security.
- Corrective maintenance: correct issues by adjusting/adapting solutions according to business needs to keep systems operational.
- Improvements: propose market technologies that can improve the quality of network assets and suggest new technologies for future implementation.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
