HR & Finance Coordinator providing support across Finance and People functions at The Earthshot Prize. This role involves managing employee lifecycle, financial record-keeping, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Provide operational, administrative, and transactional support across Finance and People functions
Process financial transactions, including Accounts Payable & Receivable
Maintain ledgers, balance sheets, and prepare monthly journals and reconciliations
Support monthly payroll processes and administer employee benefits
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Produce and maintain all People documentation and ensure compliance
Coordinate recruitment administration and maintain accurate records within HRIS
Support ongoing administration and improvement of HR systems and processes
Requirements
Previous experience in HR /Finance administration or related role
Strong transactional finance background, particularly Accounts Payable and month-end processes
Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR)
Experience working with finance systems, especially NetSuite is highly desirable
Experience using Excel and CRM or fundraising databases (e.g., Salesforce)
