About the role

Responsibilities
- Independently maintain, support and enhance systems using COBOL
- Analyze incoming requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Identify and resolve root causes of defects, and perform testing and go-live activities
- Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams to drive topics forward
- Participate in regular meetings (daily stand-ups, reviews, refinements) to clarify status and new tasks
- Provide on-call support (weekends & public holidays) as needed
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of COBOL programming and DB2
- Fluent German language skills (C1) and good English skills (B2)
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment
