Responsibilities
As an Account Manager, you will be the strategic owner of client accounts, ensuring long-term success and revenue growth.
Serve as a consultative advisor, building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and expanding the account through cross-selling and upselling.
Identify opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring DTN’s solutions continue to meet evolving customer needs.
Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a strategic consultant.
Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and business objectives.
Provide proactive recommendations, introducing new solutions that add value and drive engagement.
Conduct regular business reviews with clients to uncover unmet needs.
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to optimize client offerings.
Negotiate contract renewals above a set threshold, ensuring continued success and profitability.
Continuously analyze accounts for new business opportunities, leveraging industry insights and customer feedback.
Requirements
3 years of experience in software and/or SaaS sales
3+ years of experience in account management, consultative sales, or B2B client relations
Strong understanding of the energy/refined fuels industry is preferred
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to drive revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling
Self-motivated, with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to account management
Proficiency in SFDC software for tracking leads and managing pipelines
A consultative and professional approach to engaging with customers
Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
