About the role
- IT Senior Security Engineer providing Level 2 and 3 security support at DTE Energy. Leading projects, mentoring engineers, and directing security technologies in cyber compliance environment.
Responsibilities
- Works as a team member to provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, make recommendations, lead projects, and direct the development and/or research of security technologies
- Performs complex tasks related to area of technical responsibility, works on multiple assignments and projects, and leads/facilitates meetings and group discussions, presentations, and technical training classes
- Mentors and coaches less experienced IT Security Engineers and ITS personnel
- Provides leadership and technical direction on all aspects of security engineering
Requirements
- High School or GED and 8 years of network engineering experience inclusive of system administration
- OR Associate degree in an applicable information technology discipline and 5 years of business unit-related experience inclusive of system administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of NERC CIP standards including applicability, scope, and compliance requirements for BES Cyber Systems
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining NERC CIP compliance programs
- Direct involvement in NERC CIP audits
