About the role
- Experienced Accountant providing financial support to management in a dynamic environment. Performing various accounting tasks such as checking, posting, and supporting financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing, coding and posting all types of accounting documents
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closings and financial statements
- Preparing VAT (value-added tax) returns
- Processing travel expense and corporate credit card reports
- Managing payment operations, including processing incoming invoices and maintaining vendor/supplier master data
- Careful and conscientious management of the entire accounting function
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training (or equivalent) and 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting
- Strong numerical aptitude and excellent accounting skills
- Confident user of Google Suite (Google Workspace) and common accounting software such as DATEV
- Strong organizational skills and a goal-oriented, reliable, and solution-focused work approach
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Fluent in German and English
