Responsibilities
- Responsibility for overall accounting and financial reporting under HGB (Handelsgesetzbuch/German Commercial Code)
- Provide expert advice and support to our clients on all matters of VAT (value-added tax) law
- Independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Proactively communicate financial insights and recommendations to our clients
- Implement and optimize financial processes and quickly adapt to new tools and systems

Requirements
- Solid knowledge of the Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB/German Commercial Code) and a strong understanding of VAT law
- Experience in accounting, complemented by strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently of specific tools and to quickly adapt to new systems (e.g., DATEV, SAP, Navision/Dynamics)
- Experience in the start-up environment and a proactive, solution-oriented working approach
