Group Senior Risk Manager collaborating with stakeholders to implement enterprise risk management at Domestic & General. Responsible for fostering a positive risk culture and managing day-to-day risk activities.
Responsibilities
Work closely with business stakeholders to identify, assess and report on risks, opportunities and control effectiveness, ensuring group risk management processes are consistently embedded across the function.
Support day‑to‑day risk management activities including managing the RCSA process, tracking and analysing operational risk events, monitoring risk appetite and KRIs, preparing risk reporting and coordinating risk packs for forums and committees.
Provide coordination, interpretation and guidance on group risk policies, ensuring the business understands and applies them appropriately.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to promote effective risk management and ensure key issues are understood and acted upon.
Requirements
Strong background in operational risk management, ideally within the insurance sector.
Good understanding of risk frameworks, governance structures and control environments.
Experience in risk assurance and control testing, with the ability to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Proven stakeholder engagement skills, able to build effective working relationships.
Strong analytical abilities with a structured, problem‑solving mindset.
A collaborative team player who shows initiative and takes ownership.
