Responsibilities
Running Price Optimisation in Radar on a regular basis to hit the financial plan for Motor product
Tracking and identifying market opportunities and proposing rate changes
Constantly find new efficient ways of pricing
Embedding a test and learn approach in pricing
Proposing price changes and getting it signed off from key stakeholders
Testing the proposed changes before being deployed in Live
Conducting Post implementation reviews and take actions where the actual impacts are not in line with expectation
Portfolio Management and Mix monitoring
Stakeholder management and engagement across internal teams
Ensuring that appropriate governance processes are followed
Requirements
General understanding of insurance
Understanding of key legislation and regulation applying to motor insurance and how this impacts pricing algorithms, models, customer premiums and experience
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for problem solving
Ability to communicate complex information in a simple way
Experience of multivariate modelling, for example in Emblem
Experience of data manipulation using languages, such as SQL or Python
Experience of statistical and mathematical techniques and proven experience of applying these effectively
Desire to be accountable for your deliverables and the performance of Motor products
