Responsibilities
Supervise multiple domestic and global projects, these contracts will depend on the PM's location.
Responsible for their day-to-day activities, the quality of their team’s work, and for customer satisfaction.
Lead quality assurance standards and manage project deliverables.
Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracking/reviewing vendor deliverables.
Perform root cause analysis and develop practical solutions for customer issues and concerns in coordination with project teams and team leaders.
Prepare and deliver briefings and presentations to various stakeholders.
Develop and manage project plans.
Review task performance and work products for correctness, adherence to design concepts and user requirements, and progress per schedule.
Coordinate with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
Provide support to corporate business development activities, including managing indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicles.
Use business intelligence to provide customer and business knowledge and ensure the team fully understands customer desires, needs, and competitor capabilities.
Review government solicitations, identifying all requirements and criteria for evaluation, and assisting with creating solutions.
Participate in kickoff meetings, status updates, data calls, and color reviews as required.
Write and/or edit proposal sections to support proposal and business development efforts.
Requirements
5 years of relevant experience managing IT projects and/or experience in government contracting (service contracts)
DoD active-duty experience or professional experience in a customer-facing role with DoD personnel
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Up to 10-20% travel (primarily local with occasional domestic overnight travel).
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
