About the role
- Master Data Analyst managing product and customer data for DFDS duty-free shops. Ensuring accurate data entry and supporting customer experience in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update products/customers accounts in DFDS operational and ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.
- Leverage intermediate Excel functions (e.g., XLOOKUP; MAX IF, TRIM, ROUND, LEN, LEFT, RIGHT) to compare and validate data.
- Investigate and resolve issues raised by colleagues from other departments and locations. Identify root causes and escalate to technical teams when necessary.
- Work efficiently with thousands of records in Excel and manage tasks through ticketing systems.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders across multiple countries. Explain complex issues in a structured way and build positive relationships with local business units and cross-functional teams.
- Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tickets and projects simultaneously, and deliver updates within agreed timelines.
- Contribute to projects focused on database clean-up, standardization, and categorization. Share ideas to support automation and streamline workflows.
- Understand the impact of Master Data on customer experience and operational efficiency. Align daily work with broader business goals and transformation initiatives.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, share knowledge, and adapt to changing priorities and new projects.
Requirements
- Comfortable speaking and writing in English (at least B2 level)
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced Excel
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with ticketing systems for task management
- Team player attitude and willingness to support others
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills
- 3-4 years of experience in Master Data or similar role
