About the role
- Technical Support Engineer focusing on inverter technology for wind turbines. Collaborating with international teams to enhance maintenance processes for renewable energy.
Responsibilities
- Technical point of contact for service technicians, customers and contractors in the field of inverter technology
- Analyze and rectify faults in inverters
- Provide technical support to service teams during the repair and maintenance of wind turbines
- Create work instructions, maintenance documentation and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety)
- Review and prepare work orders and technical documentation
- Monitor wind turbine performance and identify measures to improve it
- Support the technical preparation of proposals for repairs and retrofits in the area of inverter technology
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an electrician/mechatronics technician and/or technical technician qualification and/or a degree in engineering
- Several years of experience with inverters, particularly on Senvion®, Nordex®, Fuhrländer® and GE® wind turbines
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
- Confident use of common office software
- Independent, structured and results-oriented working style
- Team player, ability to work at heights and physical fitness
- Driving licence class B and willingness/enjoyment of occasional travel
