About the role

  • Legal and regulatory compliance Advisor designing and coordinating compliance frameworks for Desjardins Group. Advising clients, recommending solutions, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Design, update, implement, and monitor legal and regulatory compliance action plans, programs, solutions, and tools that balance business needs, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Identify and assess issues, challenges, and needs to define target outcomes
  • Analyze information, conduct studies, and develop and propose recommendations to establish best practices for the organization
  • Provide training to internal practitioners, raise awareness, and communicate information about our culture of ethics and compliance
  • Oversee activities within business lines
  • Support representation of internal and external partners and practitioners
  • Represent the unit before committees, stakeholders, and other organizational units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in French is required
