About the role
- Paralegal supporting the Structured Finance team within Dentons' Banking group. Engaging in varied and challenging legal tasks to support operations across UK offices.
Responsibilities
- Support the Structured Finance team within the Banking group
- Draft basic structured finance documentation using precedents
- Manage and organise draft documentation
- Assist with transaction closings and post-completion registrations
- Produce transaction bibles and distribute original documents
- Liaise with clients and counterparties in a professional manner
- Draft emails and correspondence for fee earners
- Conduct legal research and prepare due diligence reports
Requirements
- A qualification in law, minimum 2.1 (Degree, Graduate Diploma in Law).
- LPC or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
- Previous Banking paralegal experience.
- Demonstrable interest in Structured Finance.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to work well under pressure and to very tight deadlines (essential).
- Ability to organise, prioritise and multi-task.
- Ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrate drive and initiative.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to deal effectively with Partners and professionals across the firm.
