About the role
- Senior Data Analyst/Senior Analytics Engineer collaborating with teams in Brno to support analytics needs and reports. Expertise in SQL, DBT, and Python required, with a focus on visualization and data insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to answer their analytics needs: answer their requests, enrich the dashboards, provide analyses to facilitate decision-making, etc.
- Become their primary point of contact, including for training and user support
- Ensure project management across several functional areas
- Ensure the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technical assets for managed areas (code, datasets, executions)
- Be a major contributor to the teams codebase optimization (transformation: SQL/DBT in particular)
- Create and continuously improve rich and interactive visualizations by maximizing the potential of available tools
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Engineering degree or scientific background (Master's, PhD) in a quantitative field: Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Operations Research
- Master data analysis and deriving insights from complex datasets to support decision-making
- Expertise in data mining and statistical analysis
- Proficient in creating clear, impactful visualizations and reports
- Communication findings concisely and visually to stakeholders
- Ability to lead and unite cross-functional projects across multiple business teams
- Strong expertise in SQL and DBT
- Solid experience in data modeling
- Proven proficiency in Python
- Experience working with modern data stacks and using orchestration tools such as Mage or Airflow
- Proficient with Google Sheets and Excel
- Minimum C1 level in English
