About the role
- Senior Accounting Analyst responsible for executing and reviewing financial closings and ensuring compliance with accounting norms in a sustainable chocolate company.
Responsibilities
- Perform and review monthly and annual accounting close processes;
- Prepare account reconciliations and variance analyses;
- Prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, etc.);
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (CPC/IFRS) and internal policies;
- Support external audits;
- Review journal entries and ensure correct account classification;
- Manage provisions, accruals and accounting reclassifications;
- Support management and regulatory reporting processes;
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation;
- Support internal teams with accounting and financial analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
- Strong experience in accounting;
- Experience with accounting close and audits;
- Knowledge of CPC and IFRS;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA).
