About the role
- Bookkeeper providing accounting support for property management teams in retail environments. Responsible for reconciliations, invoices, and maintaining financial records with relevant software.
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting support for the property management team
- Make collections calls
- Enter cash receipts
- Enter billing adjustments
- Perform tenant ledger reconciliations
- Enter invoices
- Ensure proper audit trail and supporting documentation
- Review leases and leasing activity and ensure accurate billing
- Maintain sales information
- Collect sales reports
- Enter sales into accounting system
- Assist the property accountant as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree in accounting
- 2-3 years bookkeeping experience in a retail environment preferred
- Microsoft Office product knowledge, Excel and real estate accounting software preferred
